Who we are
SurveyOS is a product of VesselGrade, operated by α Agentic Solutions. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
What we collect
- Account data — name, email, company, role, when you sign up or request a demo.
- Product data — the inspections, findings, evidence, and reports you create in SurveyOS. Stored on infrastructure we control, in Postgres with row-level security enforced per tenant.
- Marketing analytics — page views and referrers on surveyos.io. No individual-level tracking.
- Support communications — emails and messages you send us.
What we don't do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not share your inspection content with third parties without your explicit instruction (e.g., via API, or delivering a report to a client).
- We do not train AI models on your customer data.
How we use your data
Account data runs the product and communicates with you about it. Product data is yours — we process it only as needed to operate the service (store, index, render, export). Marketing analytics inform which pages resonate. Support data helps us answer your questions.
Where your data lives
Postgres databases on infrastructure we operate. Evidence files on S3-compatible object storage. Backups are encrypted at rest. Enterprise tenants can request bring-your-own-storage arrangements.
Your rights
Export all your data at any time via the in-app export function or on request. Request deletion at any time (with some exceptions for financial records we're required to retain). Object to processing; ask us to correct inaccurate data.
Retention
While your account is active: indefinitely. After you close your account: 30 days for easy recovery, then deleted (except audit records we're required by law to retain for up to 7 years).

This is a placeholder policy suitable for early-stage product launch. Before taking substantial customer volume, SurveyOS will retain marine-industry-aware counsel for a full policy, DPA, and cross-border compliance review.
